Draft Bylaw on Industry Completely Discussed

Jakarta DPRD's Bapemperda, opened a meeting related with report results of discussion on draft bylaw on industry. The draft bylaw filed by the executive was finally been discussed along with the legislative.

From joint discussion results, it is noted there are 11 refinement pointers and additional article per article of draft bylaw

The meeting itself was led by Jakarta DPRD's Bapemperda Chairman, Abraham Lunggana and attended by several related unit leaders.

Draft Bylaw on Industry Must Pay Attention to Labor-intensive Industry

Jakarta DPRD's Bapemperda Member, Bestari Barus conveyed that the local government was given the duty, authority and responsibility of the state to prepare the draft bylaw about industry in accordance with the mandate of Act No. 3/2014 on Industry. 

"Issuance of this draft bylaw is to give legal certainty and policy of Jakarta Provincial Government, industry actors and citizens in the implementation of industry in the capital," he expressed.

His party had opened draft bylaw discussion ten times along with related unit.

"From joint discussion results, it is noted there are 11 refinement pointers and additional article per article of draft bylaw," he told.

After explaining the resume of the discussion, Jakarta DPRD's Bapemperda Chairperson, Abraham Lunggana explained, it would bring the draft bylaw results to the Ministry of Home to be evaluated first.

"After being approved, the council will schedule plenary meeting to ratify draft bylaw becomes bylaw," he closed.
