Jakarta KPKP Dept.'s Animal Husbandry and Health Division Head, Sri Hartanti said health surveillance consists of glander checking, equine infectious anemia, piroplasmosis, surra, equine influenza, and African horse sickness. City Begins to Implement Horse Health SurveillanceFrom total 223 horses, 94 horses are from West Jakarta, 67 from South Jakarta, 47 from East Jakarta, and 18 from North Jakarta.
It was conducted by KPKP Dept., Animal Health Service Center UPT, Bogor Center for Veterinary Animal Research (BBalitvet), Center for Subang Veterinary (BVET) and IPB's Animal Health Faculty (FKH).
"After Jakarta, health surveillance will be held in West Jakarta on September 1-2 and Banten on September 3-4," she closed.
