Fence on Jakarta Provincial Government’s Land Will Be Demolished

West Jakarta Administration plans to demolish the fence on Ki Amat Soccer Field at RT 06/01, Meruya Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-District, which claimed as Jakarta Provincial Government’s asset. Aside to protect the land, this decisive action is conducted because the fence construction has no permit.

The land itself is still being disputed its ownership which claimed by other party. Thus, the matter will be settled through legal channel.
Meanwhile, West Jakarta Deputy Mayor, M Yuliadi, explained that the party that built the fence on Ki Amat Soccer Field has been given warning letter dated June 13, 2014, numbered 433/SP/JB/2014. Next step would be sealing and sending demolition warrant.
“After that, the fence will be demolished. Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to defend its asset,” he asserted.
For information, several sign boards informing the land is city government’s asset have been installed on Ki Amat Soccer Field. Unfortunately, there is other party claiming as the landowner and building fence but neglected.
The soccer field is fenced with river stones and wires. There is also a sign board written that the land belongs to Ir Wen Chie Siang based on court decision No. 232/PID.B/1999/PN JKT.BRT, Dossier Execution Print No. 4483/P/1.11/FPK/XII/199 dated December 22, 1999, which already have permanent legal power. In addition, the board also mentioned that no one is allowed to enter the land without permission based on Article 167 Jo 551 (with 9 months imprisonment).
