Commission D Supports City's Orderly Sidewalk Program

Jakarta DPRD Commission D is fully supporting the Jakarta Provincial Government's effort to restore the sidewalk function through Months of Orderly Sidewalk that will take place about one month ahead.

"I'm fully supporting it. If not us, who else," expressed Pandapotan Sinaga, member of Jakarta DPRD Commission D, Tuesday (8/1).

According to Sinaga, currently, the sidewalk condition in the field is very alarming. This is because there are still vehicle, illegal parking and street vendor (PKL) have misused the pedestrian rights.

"The government must do something, and we'll support it," he stated.

Separately, another Jakarta DPRD Commission D Member, Bestari Barus appreciates the SKPD's commitment directly involved in the Months of Orderly Sidewalk.

"We appreciate it. Nevertheless, there should still be intensive supervision from urban village to mayor. Do not be partial," he closed.
