Jakarta Environment Dept. has proposed emission test as a mandatory requirement for owners of public vehicles to renew the vehicle registration documents (STNK).

E-Emission Test App SocializedHe assessed the policy is done to smoothen Blue Sky program. Currently, the emission test is still being developed by launching e-emission test application that connected with the authorized workshop in Jakarta.
"We've been cooperating with 218 workshops. Those workshops have been certified as Workshop on Emissions Testing (BPUE)," he stated.
Through the cooperation, his dept. can identity the vehicle plus its owner. Each vehicle that has been tested will be connected to his ranks' database.
"Data can be used as data as requirement to renew STNK," he closed.
