City Held Pre-Feasibility Study Port of Jakarta

Jakarta Provincial Government was held Pre-Feasibility Study Port of Jakarta at Pola Room, Block G, City Hall. Jakarta Provincial Government will develop integrated pier area through this event.

Hopefully we can support each others to strengthen Indonesia positioning in global economy

Maritime Coordinator Ministry, Economy Coordinator Ministry, Financial Coordinator Ministry, Foreign Affairs Ministry, Transportation Ministry, National Development Plan Ministry, PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) II, and Indonesia Bank representative were involved in the event.

Port of Rotterdam side, Witerveen+Bos and Royal Haskoning DHV explained the result of feasibility study which funded by Kingdom of the Netherlands in that opportunity.

Rebuilding of Pramuka Island Pier will Be Started in August

Jakarta Development Plan Agency (Bappeda) Head, Tuty Kusumawati said, reclamation island will be developed into integrated area for industry, warehousing, distribution center, and logistic area in accordance to Spatial Palan of Pantura Strategic Area's Eastern Region Sub Raperda (regional regulation draft).

"Central Government has issued list of built ports. Thus we need to deliberate and integrate it with port that has been built by central," she said, Wednesday (8/2).

She added, soon it will be designed as international port that can facilitate docking for large ship. Hopefully, international port that will be built can improving Indonesia economy, especially Jakarta.

"Hopefully we can support each others to strengthen Indonesia positioning in global economy," she closed.
