Tambora Urban Village, West Jakarta will hold 5 kilometers running competition or 'Tambora Run 5 K' event on August 27 to commemorate Indonesia 72nd Independence Day.
The committee is also hold culinary festival and entertainment on the finish line
Tambora Urban Village Head, Djaharudin said, his side cooperates with one of shopping center in his area to hold this running competition. About 2,000 people will participate in this competition.
"It is predicted around 2,000 people who live in Tambora will participate in 5k running competition. They will wear red-white ornaments such as shoes or headband while running," he said, Tuesday (8/8).
Underwater Flag Hoisting Ceremony will Be Held at AncolHe explained, people who wants to participate can register to each urban village offices and must have Jakarta ID card.
"It is free of charge for students or public, as long as they have Jakarta ID card," he expressed.
This competition route is started from Kalijodo RPTRA and turn around to Jl. Jembatan Tiga and run towards Jl. Tubagus Angke then finish it on Jl. Jembatan Besi.
"The committee is also hold culinary festival and entertainment on the finish line," he closed.
