PNS and PHL Conducting Communal Work in Karya Island

Communal work held by hundreds of civil servants (PNS) and freelancer (PHL) of Seribu Islands Administration in Karya Island. This is run to maintain island's cleanliness and beauty.

Seribu Island Vice Regent, Ismer Harahap said, this is also held to prepare 72th of Indonesia Independence Day commemoration. Considering similar communal work was also held in Pramuka Island and Panggang Island on Friday (8/4).

"Today, communal work is held in Karya Island. We want to make Seribu Islands to be clean and comfortable," he said, Monday (8/7).

Communal Work Intensified in Ciracas

Environment Sub-dept Head, Yusen Hardiman added, cleaning the island together is quite an effective work since trash can be collected in a short time.

"From previous communal work in two islands, we had collected more than one ton of trash. We will also keep educating the residents," he closed.
