Regional Heads in W. Jakarta Asked to Monitor RPTRA Development

West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi, has instructed every regional head to monitor and monitor the development of RPTRA in their respective areas.

He stated 20 RPTRAs that will be developed through Jakarta APBD is targeted to be completed in the upcoming October.

"Every regional head must be active to monitor it thus can be finished on time," he stated, Wednesday (8/9).

He added, it is one of the priority programs mandated by Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat.

"Every region will get 20 RPTRAs. If it doesn't run well, we will coordinate with related unit," he expressed.

Assistant for West Jakarta Economy and Development, Fredi Setiawan explains, from 20 RPTRAs, 7 out of them are still being developed. And the rest 13 units are still experiencing some obstacles.

"Some obstacles faced are like land asset still listed belonging to Forestry Dept., Posyandu building in RPTRA area in Meruya Selatan, and building residents in RPTRA area in Kedaung Angke," he explained.
