City Maintains Inflation Rate in August

Jakarta Provincial Government tries to suppress inflation rate in August 2017 optimally. At least, not higher than last month which is 0.40 percent.

Jakarta Economy Bureau Head, Sri Haryati said, Regional Inflation Controller Team (TPID) will hold special meeting to discuss the right strategic plans needed to be conduct.

According to her, food price stability in July is considered good. This price stability will also be maintained. Moreover by BUMDs in food sector.

"Pasar Jaya already has CAS (Controlled Atmosphere Storage) machine to store chilies and onions. There is also Dharma Jaya for meat stock and Food Station Tjipinang Jaya to ensure rice stock in safe," she closed.
