City’s Inflation Rate is Lower Than Last Year

Jakarta Statistic Center Board (BPS) noted inflation rate in the capital in December 2016 was 0.27 percent. The rate is lower compared to same period last year by 0.72 percent.

According to him, there were four expense groups faced inflation. Those were transportation, communication, and financial service by 0.99 percent.

Next were food, drink, cigarette and tobacco by 0.54 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.18 percent, and foodstuff by 0.09 percent.

“Three groups faced declining like clothes by 0.90 percent, education, recreation and sport by 0.06 percent, and health by 0.06 percent,” he closed.
