Sunter ITF Project will Begin in September 2017

Recently, Jakarta Environment Dept. (DLH) is still preparing Sunter Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF) construction in North Jakarta. ITF will be built (groundbreaking) in the upcoming September.

It is targeted to start its groundbreaking in September

Bantar Gebang Integrated Waste Management Area (TPST) Working Unit Head, Asep Kuswanto said, Sunter ITF groundbreaking process is still being prepared. It starts from administration, contract up to its tipping fee calculation.

Sunter ITF Construction Will Start in August 2017

"It is targeted to start its groundbreaking in September," he said, Friday (8/18).

He continued, after groundbreaking, construction could directly be done soon without waiting for its administration and others.

"All matters such as administration, contract, tipping fee, and others must be finished in September. So its construction can be started," he closed.

For information, PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) will be working on the Sunter ITF together with Finland Fortum investor.

Sunter ITF will have a capacity of between 2,000-2,200 tons per day. With that volume, it can produce electrical energy up to 40 mega watts capacity.
