Flona Exhibition Should Encourages Young Generation to Love Environment

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat affirmed, Flora and Fauna (Flona) Exhibition should be able to encourage young generation to love the nature and its environment. It is not prioritize event's number transactions as the standard of success.

First, result must be seen from how many young generations can be encouraged to love Indonesia flora and fauna and their environment

Djarot said, Flona Exhibition should introduce many natural resources of Indonesia thus can instill young generation's love for it.

"First, result must be seen from how many young generations can be encouraged to love Indonesia flora and fauna and their environment. Then, second is the transaction," he said in Flona Exhibition 2017 closing event at Lapangan Banteng, Monday (8/21).

Meanwhile, Jakarta Forestry Dept. Head, Djafar Muchlisin said, this year's transaction has increased 12 percent than last year. While the visitors has reached 210 thousand people.

"There are 332 participants in total, with 238 plant booths. Total transaction is about Rp 317 million per day," he closed.
