Until now, 14,529 qurban animals in the capital were examined by Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. that held since August 18, 2017. It took place about three days.

She mentioned those animals were from 207 slaughterhouses. Besides health examination, the officer also ensured animals whether they meet the requirements or not.
According to her, most animals were free from harmful diseases. In general, those examined were healthy and have been accompanied by a health letter from the origin.
"Animals that are examined included goats and cows. Some parts are examined such as teeth, ears and other physical conditions," she told.
She added that it was done to ensure that sacrificial animals are free from disease and meet the requirements when being traded. In addition, it was also aimed to avoid the existence of rogue sellers who sell animals in a state of illness.
"All sacrificial animals are mostly healthy. While not enough age, there are about 47 animals," she closed.
