Tens of Trees will Be Planted on Land in Cempaka Putih

Tens of trees will be planted on a 300-meter-width land that has been acquired by Jakarta Forestry Dept. on Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta. The land acquisition itself was done legally last year.

"We will plant 30 trees this week," expressed Munjirin Rasyid, Head of Central Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept., Wednesday (8/23).

1,010 Productive Trees Planted in Setu Babakan

For types of trees, he admitted, his side will check the stock first. It is because tree planting is for anticipating land misuse.

"There is no selection of tree types, we will coordinate with local regional heads related to tree treatment," he said.
