Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat wants Sunter Intermediate Treatment Facilities (ITF) construction can be done on target this September. Thus, he wants tipping fee and electricity selling price matters could be done immediately.

The main thing is we need to build ITF in Jakarta, thus it is needed to be done as well as possible

"From a long time ago, these two problems are not solved yet. Because ITF is urgent, don't let these problems hampered the construction," he said in summit meeting at City Hall, Monday (8/28).

PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the side who is appointed by City to realize ITF construction is asked not to give high price on electricity and not only pursuing profit.

Meanwhile, Djarot instructs PLN to be willing to provide a logical price thus operator can cover operational cost. As one of regional-owned enterprises (BUMD)s, PLN is hoped to understand that Sunter ITF construction is the national strategic pilot project.

"The most important thing is not just dwelling on that problem. The main thing is we need to build ITF in Jakarta, thus it is needed to be done as well as possible," he affirmed.

Regarding to tipping fee, Djarot mentioned, its amount can be changed according to its development thus ITF construction work can be realized soon.

PLN General Manager for Jakarta Distribution, M. Ikhsan Asaad said, his side is ready to follow up the technical discussion to determine electricity selling price.

"We are ready. Regarding to price, we can discuss it. For its mechanism, we will ask ESDM Minister permission to be ratified," he expressed.

Meanwhile, PT. Jakpro President Director, Satya Heragandhi affirmed, his side is ready to accelerate the construction progress. Moreover, based on recent legality, Sunter ITF construction is already become one of national prioritized strategic projects.

"Principally, it is project acceleration legality. We hope it could be submitted in September thus its technical work could be done soon," he closed.
