Jakarta Reviews Integration Between Transportation with Bekasi

Jakarta Provincial Government is starting to review integration between transport modes with Bekasi City Government. Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat has conveyed this plan when his side was welcoming Bekasi Mayor, Rahmat Effendi and his entourage, Tuesday (9/5).

In limited meeting, president conveys that integration between transport modes is needed, including its ticketing system

According to him, integration between public transportation is the follow up from president's referrals in limited meeting some time ago. It is hoped, this integration could encourage people to prefer public transportation in order to solve traffic congestion problems.

Jakarta and Bekasi Discussed About Partnership Assistance Fund Realization

He mentioned, Bekasi Mayor is welcoming this integration plan between transport modes because  their areas are developing and many new settlements will grow.  

As follow up, Djarot admitted his side will prepare well its integration with Bekasi City. Especially, he is scheduled to have meeting with Transportation Dept. from each sides and related stakeholders.

"In the near future, we will invite Bekasi City Government with Transportation Dept. and transportation system administrators to have meeting to discuss this thing," he closed.
