Jl. Sudirman-Thamrin Sidewalk Groundbreaking is Targeted in October

Jakarta Provincial Government targets the groundbreaking for Jl. Sudirman-Thamrin sidewalk widening will be held in October.

Its groundbreaking is in early October. Especially for sidewalk from Benhil to Bundaran HI

Jakarta Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat said, sidewalk from Jl. Bendungan Hilir into Bundaran HI is planned to be functioned not only as pedestrian road, but also gathering place for youth at night.

"Its groundbreaking is in early October. Especially for sidewalk from Benhil to Bundaran HI," he said, Monday (9/11).

Sidewalks on Jalan Sudirman and Jalan MH Thamrin will Be Improved

He explained, sidewalk widening budget is got from developer obligations excess budget in Semanggi Interchange construction. Later on, one sidewalk lane will be allocated for bicycle path.

"Several locations can be used for youths gathering place. But it should not be permanent, it can be opened at 9 PM," he closed.
