48 Sidewalks Development in Jakarta Has Touched 25 Percent

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. is developing 48 sidewalks in the capital. Thus far, its development progress has reached 25 percent of total 80 kilometers.

This year, he stated, it is targeted to be made up to 100 kilometers.
"There is a reduction in the length of the sidewalk being worked on. That is from the original at 100 to 80 kilometers. Last year we only did 50 kilometers," he told.
Of 48 spots, he added, 8 of them are handled by Bina Marga Dept. And the rest 40 spots are handled by each Bina Marga Sub-dept.
