MRT Phase II Project Will Pass in Six Urban Villages of Taman Sari

Taman Sari Sub-district, West Jakarta continues to intensify socialization on the development of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Phase II (HI Roundabout-Kampung Bandan). Moreover, it will have an impact on some areas in West Jakarta.

Taman Sari Sub-district Head, Firmanudin Ibrahim said, the rail-based mode of transportation will pass in Pinangsia Urban Village, Glodok Urban Village, Maphar Urban Village, Krukut Urban Village, Mangga Besar Urban Village and Taman Sari Urban Village.

"We've held socialization by inviting locals and entrepreneurs who will be affected by the MRT phase II development," he stated, Thursday (14/9).

MRT Construction Phase II will Start Next Year

He continued, the socialization itself explained that the project would be built up to 8.3 kilometers length with eight underground stations.

Pinangsia RW 06 Chairman, Jhoni added, there are currently 40 buildings occupied by 70 households at RT 06. "Hopefully, the best solution can be made if there will be land acquisition," he closed.
