East Jakarta Administration holds communal work to clean area on Jalan Mayjen Soetoyo, RT 01/14, Cililitan, Kramat Jati.

"Lots of micro and connecting channels were clogged and need normalization. Today, we encourage resident to actively cleaning up the environment," said Rusdiyanto, East Jakarta Secretary, Sunday (9/17).

Communal Work Becomes A Medium for Residents' Aspiration

He explained, his side will also invite several parties to make the permanently closed channels on the location to be enabled again. His side will also arrange the unorganized parks and green spaces.

"Communal work is focused in here since this location is frequently inundated when the rain falls," he mentioned.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Water Resource Sub-dept. Head, Mustajab added, PPSU and PHL personnel cleaned the connecting channel up to 300 meters long.

"On the closed channels, we will provide main hole on each 3 meters," he closed.
