Dishub will Conduct Traffic Engineering Around Depok-Antasari Toll Project

Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) provides traffic engineering due to Depok-Antasari Toll construction. Traffic engineering will be done according to Antasari Interchange construction phases.

Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah said recent Depok-Antasari Toll construction progress is entering the interchange construction phase which located on Jl. Pangeran Antasari to Jl. TB. Simatupang.

"Thus we will conduct traffic engineering around construction site," he said at City Hall, Monday (9/18).

He informed, from September 23 to December 2017, traffic flow from Jalan Antasari into Lebak Bulus which is previously through underpass of JORR toll way, now will be redirected to turn left through east detour of Cilandak intersection. Then east side of Jalan Antasari which headed to Lebak Bulus will be closed for the north side of new bridge pole construction.

For traffic from Lebak Bulus to Jalan Antasari will be redirected to west detour (in front of Alamanda Tower) from existing road. While west side of Jalan Antasari (existing road) that leads to Blok M will be a detour or diversion road when the north side of the bridge that leads to Kampung Rambutan has been dismantled.

From October 5 to December, he continued, traffic flow from Kampung Rambutan to Lebak Bulus which is previously used existing bridge will be redirected to the new bridge on the south side. While traffic from and to Kampung Rambutan still can use east U-turn located under JORR toll way.

"South side of existing bridge leads to Lebak Bulus will be dismantled due to toll gate construction and the replacement bridge can be used on September 24, 2017," he mentioned.

From October 10 to December, he continued, traffic from Lebak Bulus to Kampung Rambutan will be redirected to detour in front of Alamanda Tower then turn left. While turn right in JORR toll underpass if want to go to Lebak Bulus.

Meanwhile the existing road that leads to Kampung Rambutan will be also dismantled due to toll gate construction and the replacement will be located on the north side of it.

"After the construction is done, all traffic flows will be returned back," he expressed.

He encourages road users to avoid the mentioned road ways and obey the appointed traffic engineering. Besides obeying the traffic signs, road users should pay attention on personnel instructions on the field and be safe on road.
