Prone to Inundation, Drainage Developed on Jalan Ampera Raya

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. is developing a drainage on Jalan Ampera Raya, Cilandak Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu Sub-district, South Jakarta. It is carried out in order to minimize inundation during rainy season.

Holi Susanto, Head of South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. said drainage project that will have 194 centimeters long and 1 meter wide is a form of response to people reports. For the work itself is using U Ditch Precast and Box Culvert concrete castings.

"The reports saying Jalan Ampera Raya is vulnerable to inundation, especially when it rains," he stated, Wednesday (9/27).

Drainage Project at Jalan Kancil Recontinued

He added the project has been ongoing since a week and is predicted to take place 45 days. About its technical, his side has sent tens of personnel and one excavator to the field.

"The drainage will be a solution to free this area from the inundation," he closed.
