INASGOC Opens Volunteer Recruitment to Support Asian Games

The Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) is opening recruitment for 13,000 volunteers ahead of Asian Games. 

We need 13,000 volunteers to support the event. Registration can be done online

INASGOC Chairman, Erick Thohir said, recruitment is marked by the official launching of the volunteer portal. The selected volunteers will be involved as staff and workforce of the Asian Games on August 18-September 2, 2018.

"We need 13,000 volunteers to support the event. Registration can be done online," he expressed, Thursday (9/28).

Thohir hopes young people can participate as volunteers. Moreover, the Asian Games is a prestigious event in the international arena of interest followed by young people.

"I truly hope, many young people in Indonesia are willing to participate here, especially those who have qualifications as required, such as foreign languages," he stated.

To enroll the recruitment, he explained, they can check out via Asian Games official website at http://volunteer.asiangames2018.id. It is opened for Indonesian people, especially college student.

It has been opened September 18 and will be closed on October 23, 2017. While for registration of Games Times, will be opened in the upcoming December. 

"To face even test in February 2018, we need around 2,000 volunteers," he told.

He added, the HR Volunteer department already has 100 volunteers to conduct Training of Trainee (TOT) to the volunteer candidates who pass the selection stage. In this occasion, his side gives portion about 30 percent of total requirement to the volunteers from outside Indonesia.

"All applicants will go through a tight screening process and involve related units in government," he said.
