Coordination Between City-INASGOC for Asian Games is Strengthened

Jakarta Provincial Government keeps coordinating with the Indonesian Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) in order to prepare the upcoming Asian Games.

We want to succeed the event and its accountability

Jakarta Assistant to People's Welfare, Fatahillah expressed, based on Gubernatorial Decree No. 790 about Supporting Committee for 2018 Asian Games, there are an organizing committee consisting of six fields.

Those six fields are infrastructure, facility and match; tourism, culture, tax and licensing; security and public order; transportation and communications; health and social; as well as the cleanliness and city structuring.

City Continues to Socialize Readiness of 2018 Asian Games

"Meeting has been held to discuss about two fields, namely tourism, culture, tax and licensing, as well as transportation and communication," he explained.

According to him, the meeting is purposed to speed up committee movements to finalize the preparation of the Asian Games. Thus, there should be no overlap between the tasks that are the authority of the central government and the local government.

He added, the meeting and the evaluation would be a routine agenda, including budget. It is because, besides INASGOC that has own budget, the budget details also involve BPK and Bappeda.

"We want to succeed the event and its accountability," he stated.
