Commission D Discusses SDA Dept. Budget

City Council Commission D held meeting to discuss about realization on Water Resources (SDA) Dept. budget absorption until September 2017.

"We want to know Water Resources Dept. recent budget absorption position and its estimation until December 2017," said Iman Satria, Chairman of Commission D, Tuesday (10/3).

In that chance, he also asked Jakarta SDA Dept. preparation to anticipate flood until end of this year since rain intensity becomes high recently.

Bina Marga Dept. Optimistic to Absorb Budget Up to 90 Percent

"Recently rain often occurs. Thus we ask Jakarta SDA Dept. to be prepared and explain its preparation for pumps and other tools," he said.

He hopes, SDA Dept. could finish the flood handling programs such as channel maintenance, reservoir normalization, retention basin, and others.

At the same location, Jakarta SDA Dept. Head, Teguh Hendarwan explained, his side has absorb Rp 590.4 billion until September 2017 or 36.93 percent from total budget Rp 1.5 trillion on City Budget 2017.

"Until September, we have reached 36 percent, because we want to start NCICS physical construction in November. We are targeting to absorb 90 percent from total budget," he affirmed.

He also ensured that his side is ready to deal with rainy season until the end of this year.

"We are ready from early year by preparing more than 3,200 blue personnel," he closed.
