Bina Marga Dept. Optimistic to Absorb Budget Up to 90 Percent

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. is optimistic can absorb budget up to 85-90 percent by the end of this year. Until now, his side has absorbed 26 percent from total budget Rp 2.7 trillion.

Bills that have been paid just reached 26 percent. Because not all finished works are directly paid

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. Head, Yusmada Faizal said, for now his department's budget absorption is not high since several contractors have not charged the payment for works done.

"Bills that have been paid just reached 26 percent. Because not all finished works are directly paid," he said at City Council Building, Tuesday (10/3).

Commission D Discusses Bina Marga Dept. Budget Absorption

He is confident that his side could reach 85-90 percent for budget absorption. Since 85 percent from planned activities have been signed contract with third parties.

"15 percent does not have contract yet. But I am optimistic budget absorption could reach 85-90 percent from total budget Rp 2.7 trillion," he expressed.

City Council Commission D Chairman, Iman Satria encourages Bina Marga Dept. thus its budget absorption could reach more than target since many constructions are on progress recently.

"We will encourage them thus can absorb optimally. Hopefully we can reach the target," he closed.
