Until September, Environment Dept. Has Absorbed 34 Percent

Until September 2017, the budget absorption of Jakarta Environment Dept. has reached 34.55 percent of the total budget amounting to Rp 730 billion. The budget is not included in the sub-dept. and the management unit.

Jakarta Environment Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji said, this year, 40 percent of budget absorbed is for heavy equipment purchases. However, until now, heavy equipment payment has not been made.

Budget Absorption in Seribu Islands Has Reached 39.7 Percent

"We have absorbed 34.55 percent so far. Because there are many purchases and jobs that have not been paid," he expressed, at City Hall building, Wednesday (10/4).

He is optimistic, until the end of the year, budget absorption in his ranks can reach 80-90 percent. Meanwhile, the highest budget absorption is achieved by West Jakarta Environment Sub-dept. with a percentage of 43.1 percent of the total budget amounting to Rp 123 billion.

"While the lowest absorption is in LLHD Technical Implementation Unit," he continued.

Jakarta DPRD Commission D Chairman, Iman Satria encouraged the DLH to optimize budget absorption, either at provincial or sub-dept.

"We encourage all SKPDs to have the high absorption, at least 80-90 percent," he closed.
