Penyerapan APBD DKI 2014 Semester II Baru 20 Persen

Semester II, Regional Budget Absorption Only 20 Percent

Jakarta Provincial Government's plan to reach 97 percent absorption for regional budget by the end of this year seems difficult to be reached. It is because the absorption only reached 20 percent out of total budget Rp 72 trillion up to second semester or in June 2014.

"It is hoped the absorption will boost up after the ULP process is finished

Jakarta Financial Management Body Head, Endang Widjajanti, said that many problems disrupted local budget absorption. One of them is waiting for auction process from Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Unit (ULP).

The 2014 APBD will Soon Be Announced

"It is hoped the absorption will boost up after the ULP process is finished," she said, Monday (6/23).

Another problem is land acquisition which hampered by new land acquisition law.

Based on Bill No 2/2012 about land procurement for public purpose, explained that local government can not buy land. It can be done by National Land Board (BPN).

"We can not predict the absorption point. But we always have tricks, whether the programs are continued, moved, or ended," she added.

According to her, six percent of budget has been absorbed for civil official salary, regional allowances, and telephone, water, electricity charges.
