Six Strategic Projects Built Through KPBU

Jakarta Provincial Government has noted six strategic programs that can be built through Cooperation Between Government and Enterprise (KPBU).

There are several projects which potential for cooperation

Jakarta Secretary, Saefullah mentioned, those six projects that can be done through KPBU are Jatiluhur SPAM distribution pipeline construction, Zone 8 Wastewater Treatment Plant (IPAL) in Marunda and Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF) construction.

Then, integrated specialty hospital construction for non-communicable disease, International standardized BMW Stadium, and Light Rail Transit (LRT) Phase 2, and other six corridors.

City Begins to Explore KPBU For Developing Infrastructure

"There are several projects which potential for cooperation. Currently we are analyzing it to be developed through KPBU scheme," he said at City Hall, Friday (10/13).

He added, KPBU scheme is not only for BUMD and BUMN. Pure private enterprise could also be involved in infrastructure development. 

"Not only BUMD and BUMN, pure private enterprises are also allowed. Those projects are promising in business," he expressed.

For information, Jakarta Provincial Government is studying KPBU scheme to fund several infrastructure development.
