10 GORs Renovation Begins End of October

The renovation towards 10 Sport Venues (GOR) to support the upcoming 2018 Asian Games will begin by the end of this month.
Fund for the project is taken from the compensation fund of the private building floor coefficient (KLB).
10 GORs Renovation Targeted to Finish Before Asian GamesJakarta Youth and Sports Dept. Head, Ratiyono disclosed the amount of the renovation funds that has been approved is Rp 65 billion. The fund will be used to renovate such GOR, baseball field and BMX bike track.
"Hopefully the renovation can be executed by the end of this month," he expressed, Wednesday (10/18).
According to him, the construction of all these sports facilities takes about seven months. Targeted in May next year, it can be completed entirely.
"We're optimistic it can be completed on time," he stressed.
As for the information, the 10 GORs that will be renovated are Pulogadung GOR, Cempaka Putih GOR, Sunter GOR, Soemantri Brodjonegoro GOR, Bulungan GOR, Ragunan GOR, Senen GOR, West Jakarta GOR, North Jakarta GOR, East Jakarta GOR.
