South Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Arifin instructed the disaster response officers under South Jakarta Social Sub-Dept. to keep alert.

Not only that, the officers who consist of Emergency Response Unit (Tagana), Disaster Preparedness Village (KSB) and Disaster Preparedness Social (PSKB) should also provide services and assistance when disaster strikes in their respective areas.

"It needs to be done since it is now entering the rainy season. It's predicted the peak will occur in December until January," he expressed, when he gave direction to the disaster response officers of South Jakarta Social Sub-Dept., Monday (10/23).

He added it was very important, as the officer could be early in handling and providing assistance to the residents when the disaster strikes.

South Jakarta Social Sub-dept. Head, Mursidin added, in that occasion, his side invited 41 officers who represent their respective regions. "Principally those must always be ready and alert in case of disaster," he closed.
