City Council asks road closure on Jalan Raya Angkasa, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta to be socialized more to public in order to minimize traffic congestion.

City Council Commission B Member, Judistira Hermawan said, people should know the reason that due to road construction it needs to be closed.

He also asks Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) and Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya to coordinate and evaluate thus congestion in the locations could be minimized.
"Dishub needs to coordinate with Ditlantas or apply contra flow like in Matraman. I guess it is effective enough to unravel traffic," he added.
Another Commission B Member, Subandi continued, plan must be thought well before closing the area and the possibility to open alternative ways.
"It needs good plan and analysis to close including to open alternative lanes to unravel traffic congestion," he closed.
