Transjakarta Route Modification Is Proven to Shorten Trip Time

With the modification of the route made by the management of PT Transjakarta, she felt the trip time from Monas-Ragunan could be shortened up to 50 percent.

Alya said, usually the trip time from Monas-Ragunan is more or less takes about two to three hours. Especially during rush hours, it will be much longer. Using the modification route through Tendean, it only takes about 1.5 hours.

She just knew the existence of this modification route from the news a number of media. On the first day of the modification route, she immediately tried it.

"It's okay wait for a minute, the important thing is not stuck in Kuningan. If you ride the express, we can be faster to get the location," he expressed, at Monas Bus Stop, Tuesday (10/24).

Ari Maulana, a citizen who works on Jalan MH Thamrin area, also feels similar experience.

He requested that the number of bus for modification route to be propagated. Thus passengers do not wait too long for the bus.

"It's getting faster now. Usually I get stuck in Kuningan, I hope the bus can be added. So do not wait too long," he expressed.

Based on Beritajakarta.id, not a few passengers who already know the route. Officers at the bus stop also keep informing of the bus routes that pass.

One officer at the Monas Bus Stop said, the bus called L6 route Monas-Ragunan via Tendean passes every 10 minutes. The number of fleets that were prepared was quite a lot, which is more than 10 units. He said the Monas-Ragunan route is also a modified express lane. There are two lanes taken this route that is via Kuningan and Jalan Gatot Subroto.

As known, it is the request of Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno after having felt the congestion in the area while trying to review the underpass project by riding Transjakarta bus.

The route taken by L6 bus is Jalan MH Thamrin, Jalan Sudirman. Once arrived at Senayan Roundabout Senayan, the passengers only turn left onto Jalan Patimura.

Then the bus goes up to corridor 13 in front of National Police Headquarters and get off at the Tendean's off ramp. Then the bus turns direction and turns left back into the corridor 6 at Mampang Prapatan Bus Stop towards Ragunan. Although it is the express route, the L6 bus remain stops at all stops that are crossed.
