PDAM Jaya is optimistic to immediately finish clean water pipe utility relocation in Kartini Flyover and Mampang Kuningan Underpass construction sites, South Jakarta.

Most importantly, relocation lane must be set first

PDAM Jaya Director, Erlan Hidayat said, since utility interrupts flyover and underpass project, his side has coordinated Bina Marga Dept. and project management to relocate the utility.

"Theoretically, it could takes 3-4 months. Most importantly, relocation lane must be set first," he said, Thursday (10/26).

He informed, Kartini Flyover has diameter 1.200 millimeters. While Mampang Underpass pipes have diameters 600 millimeters and 400 millimeters.

"We need to cut water supply temporarily in order to relocate the utilities. We will make sure to socialize it around 1-2 days before we cut it," he explained.

He added, utility relocation process in Kartini Flyover has reached 42 percent. It is included design making, ordering goods, check on pipe making, and coordination on location.

"We also coordinate with related institutions to control traffic near project sites," he closed.
