Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno asks PT. Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) to accelerate Light Rail Transit (LRT) soft opening.
If possible, I want it to be done by the end of July
"Soft opening for LRT is planned on August 13, 2018. If possible, I want it to be done by the end of July," he expressed, at City Hall, Thursday (10/26).
He explained, Rawamangun Velodrome is targeted to finisih in May 2018. But he asked to accelerate it by one month.
Sandi will Monitor Asian Games Venue Construction Often"I challenge any engineering and innovation thus the construction could be finished earlier than target," he said.
He added, he will monitor progress of two Asian Games XVIII projects once for two weeks.
"In average it is still on track, but we want it to be accelerated. It is an honor we can be the Asian Games host," he conveyed.
Meanwhile, PT. Jakpro Director, Satya Heragandhi said, his side applies value engineering for LRT, especially related to material mobilization. Besides, his side will add more work shifts and tools.
"We will maximize our effort thus two projects of Asian Games, both Velodrome and LRT could be finished earlier than target," he closed.
