Dredging in Central Jakarta Continues to Be Accelerated

To minimize inundation in the rainy season, three connecting channels (PHB) in Central Jakarta are being dredged by officers of Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept.
And now we're still focusing on Mangga Dua Dalam PHB, Mangga Dua Raya PHB and Rawa Kerbau PHB
Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept.'s Maintenance Section Head, Boris Korlap Lumbangaol said, there are actually six points that will be dredged this year. Three of them have been completed, namely Lembang Lake by dredging 8,030 cubic meters of mud, Benyamin Sueb PHB with 1,200 square meters of mud and Kalibaru Timur PHB with 750 cubic meters.
"And now we're still focusing on Mangga Dua Dalam PHB, Mangga Dua Raya PHB and Rawa Kerbau PHB," he expressed, Monday (10/30).
Five Connecting Channels in East Jakarta DredgedFrom the latest data, the officer has dredged 450 cubic meters of mud from Mangga Dua Dalam, 600 cubic meters of mud from Mangga Dua Raya, and 1,500 cubic meters of mud from Rawa Kerbau.
"It's targeted to be completed in the forthcoming December," he closed.
