Council Appreciates Transjakarta Route Modification

City Council Commission B appreciates Transjakarta innovation in modifying routes for time efficiency.

Through route modification, trip time becomes shorten

Commission B Secretary, Darussalam said, route modification is one innovation that can solve traffic problem on several roads due to infrastructure construction.

"Through route modification, trip time becomes shorten. On behalf of Council, we appreciate and support it," he expressed, Monday (10/30).

Public Transportation Re-routing Should Be Realized Soon

He hopes with express routes, citizen will not use private vehicle anymore and start to use Transjakarta to minimize traffic congestion.

"People who usually use private vehicle to work are always stuck in traffic congestion. Thus it would be more efficient and comfortable to use Transjakarta since it is faster," he said.

Commission B Member, Syarifuddin added, PT. Transjakarta innovation are also appreciated by many people. He hopes alternative routes could be added more, especially on jammed routes.

"Due to construction works, there are many crowded road in Jakarta. Thus route modification is needed and must be added more," he expressed.

For information, PT. Transjakarta has modified Transjakarta bus routes from Monas to Ragunan through Jalan MH. Thamrin and Jalan Sudirman. When arrive at Bundaran Senayan, bus turns left to Jalan Patimura,

Then bus will go up to Corridor 13 in front of Mabes Polri and go down at Tendean off ramp. Next it will turn around and head for left to enter Corridor 6 at Mampang Prapatan bus shelter and go ahead to Ragunan.
