Council Supports Analysis About Electric Bus for Transjakarta

City Council Commission B supports Jakarta Provincial Government to analyze electric bus for Transjakarta.

Commission B Secretary, Darussalam said, electric bus can reduce pollution and attracts people to use public transportation.

"We support its analysis, but don't look at one side. It must be analyzed first," he said, Tuesday (10/31).

City Interested to Have Electric Bus For Transjakarta

Commission B Member, Prabowo Soenirman added that it is proven that electric bus is more efficient, thus it needs more support for the realization.

"Technology enhancement needs to be adopted, if it is more efficient then why not. It would be better if we have that bus since it saves more energy," he affirmed.

Previously, Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno wants PT. Transjakarta to analyze about electric bus. Later on, this type of bus can replace current buses in Jakar ta.
