Jakarta Transportation Dept. Deputy Head, Sigit Wijatmoko said, transportation units at sub-district level are the vanguard to handle parking in settlements.

"Through discussion, we are trying to find a solution to handle illegal parking in regions," he said, Wednesday (11/1).

If there is a report, he continued, each sub-district personnel units will go to the settlement or mentioned location to check and handle the parking.

"Sanction will be given persuasively through socialization, reprimand, and prioritizing dialogue and coordination to superior," he closed.
