Sandi Opens FGD About Heritage Site Control For Kota Tua

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno opened focus group discussion (FGD) about heritage site control for Kota Tua. Observers, community, academics, and tourism business actors were also involved in this FGD.

We use participant and collaborative patterns to approach them

Through FGD, he expected ideas can be realized to preserve and promote Kota Tua as favorite tourism destination.

"Through this discussion, we will have the same concept or priority to preserve Kota Tua," he said at City Hall, Wednesday (11/1).

Cultural Heritage Experts Involved to Revitalize TPI Building

He wants the result or recommendation from FGD can be realized since not only city government, but stakeholder is also responsible for Kota Tua area.

"We use participant and collaborative patterns to approach them. At least it will increase their sense of ownership and attention towards Kota Tua," he explained.

He wants summit meeting (rapim) could be held in historical sites in Jakarta such as Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum and others.

"Those places could be an alternative for rapim. At once, it could be a chance to support cultural heritage preservation, especially Kota Tua area," he closed.
