Fire Socialization Given to Lenteng Agung People

50 citizens living in RT 02/06, Lenteng Agung Urban Village, Jagakarsa Sub-district, South Jakarta are undergoing fire socialization.

It is done to minimize fire case triggered by leakage LPG gas

Jagakarsa Sub-district Gulkarmat Unit Group B Team Head, Sukardi said fire socialization is held on the yard of a citizen's home.

"It is done to minimize fire case triggered by leakage LPG gas," he stated, Saturday (11/4).

In that occasion, citizens are trained who to handle leakage LPG gas. If the fire is smelled, they have to pull out the regulator and open the window or door thus the gas scent can come out.

Another thing that is socialized is how to extinguish the fire using a sack or a towel that has been wetted or use Portable Fire Extinguishers (APAR).

"By so, we hope fire case in South Jakarta can be minimized," he hoped.
