Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan and its partner, Sandiaga Uno attended a discussion meeting of 2018 General Budget Policies and Provisional Budget Ceiling and Priorities (KUA-PPAS) that held by Jakarta DPRD'a Banggar yesterday.

On that occasion, he delivered the proposed KUA-PPAS compiled by Jakarta TAPD has been confirmed to accommodate the unrealized interests of the people.

"We want this problem to be solved, for example, slums that have existed for a long time can be resolved seriously," he expressed, at City Council building, Monday (11/6). 

He also asserted its entire staff in the executive has committed to using APBD effectively and on a priority scale.

"Don't let the budget be used for activities that are not obvious benefits. Development should be oriented to the interests of people," he said.

According to him, the budget orientation that has been prepared in 2018 aims to make Jakarta people satisfy. One of them is handling traffic jam that becomes a plural problem for other cities in the world.

"But we need to make a breakthrough thus the perceived problem does not become an affliction," he uttered.

Lastly, Anies invites all parties to uphold transparency in the drafting of 2018 KUA-PPAS. It is compliance with the commitment that has been set by Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetio Edi Marsudi during the coffee morning this morning.

"This budget is a mandate. We must understand it as a responsibility that must be done all," he disclosed.
