Guests From Japan Visited Green Alley at Tanah Sereal Urban Village

Guests from Nerima City Government, Japan, visited green alley at Tanah Sereal Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district, West Jakarta. Nerima City Deputy Mayor, Yamauchi Takao, also attended.

They also have a chance to harvest vegetables which planted in that densely populated area

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept.'s Urban Farming Section Head, Taufik Yuniarto who also acts as an escort of this entourage explained, delegations from Japan seems interested with green alley program that involving local residents role.

"They also have a chance to harvest vegetables which planted in that densely populated area," he said, Wednesday (11/8).

City Processing Urban Farming Grand Design

He explained, this guest entourage from Japan had visited Jakarta KPKP Dept. Head, Darjamuni before had a survey on green alley program at Tanah Sereal to discuss about cooperation in urban farming development.

"In the future, we have a plan to introduce urban farming from early age as has been applied in Japan," he closed.
