PT. Transjakarta Adds Two Shelters in Corridor 13

From today, PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) operates Seskoal Shelter and Kebayoran Lama Shelter in Corridor 13.

Information banner about new shelters operation also have been installed

Several shelters in Corridor 13 that have been operated before are Tendean, Tirtayasa, Mayestik, Cipulir, Adam Malik, Puri Beta I, dan Puri Beta II Shelters.

PT. Transjakarta Director, Budi Kaliwono hopes additional shelters could give more easiness for Transjakarta bus passengers.

"For us, these additional shelters can help minimizing accumulation on passengers during rush hour," he said, Friday (11/10).

He explained, Seskoal and Kebayoran Lama Shelter has been equipped with adequate infrastructures and facilities.

"Information banner about new shelters operation also have been installed. This is to inform people," he explained.

Regarding to plan, corridor 13 will be equipped with 14 bus shelters. Thus, there are another 5 remains shelter that have not been operated.

"We are optimistic these five shelters are able to be used in 2018," he said.

For information, flyover corridor 13 is used for Ciledug-Tendean route, Pancoran Barat-Ciledug route, Ciledug-Bundaran HI route, and Ragunan-Ciledug route that will only operate on Saturday, Sunday, and national holidays. 

Transjakarta corridor 13 bus users could reach 12 thousand passengers per day in average.
