PT Jamkrida Jakarta Asked to Advance UKM

If the explanation is clear and easy to understand, it can attract the public interest

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, disclosed the small and middle enterprises (UKM) in the capital must be more advanced with the guarantee of credit or capital from the City-owned credit insurance PT Penjamin Kredit Daerah Jakarta (Jamkrida).

Anies said, in the community assistance through One Kecamatan One Center for Entrepreneurship (OK OCE) program, there should be human resources that really understand the guarantee products in Jamkrida, either it is in practice or theory.

"If the explanation is clear and easy to understand, it can attract the public interest," he stated, after he received business exposure from PT Jamkrida Jakarta, at City Hall, Monday (11/13).

On the other hand, PT Jamkrida Jakarta President Director, Chusnul Ma'rif expressed his side provides capital and credit guarantees to UKMs that are feasible, instead of bankable.

"According to RKAP 2017, we will guarantee credit for 18,560 UKMs. But, the realization in October, it has reached 20,156 UKMs with a guarantee worth 1.4 trillion," he explained.

He added, for next year, PT Jamkrida is targeting credit guarantee aid to 22,583 UKMs.

"Next year, the value of credit guarantee can be increased to Rp 3.1 trillion," he expressed.

He explained they continue to improve the pledge of guarantees against UKM in Jakarta. In addition, synergy is also done with OK OCE and DP Nol Persen.
