Anies Invites Religious Leaders to Develop Jakarta

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, said the forum of religious leaders (ulama) silaturahmi with umara (government) must be held routinely. In addition to strengthening the relationship, the forum is expected to be a forum of communication and religious leaders can provide input for the development of Jakarta towards happy city, prosperous citizens.

"We hope this forum can run routinely. The desire to develop Jakarta happy city, we can develop together," he stated, Tuesday (11/14). 

Anies Continues to Monitor Handling of Floods in Jakarta

Through this forum, Anies hopes four things, namely to settle unresolved issues, anticipate the future, exchange ideas and develop the same perception about the Jakarta problem.

He also wants Jakarta can be a safe and comfortable city for all. Therefore, he hopes, the ulama will focus on developing a good moral in order to minimize potential problems. While the government has a part to protect the environment.

"Protecting the environment is our part," he closed.
