School Renovation and Furniture Procurement will Be Budgeted in 2018

Jakarta Budgeting Team (TAPD) ensures school renovation and furniture procurement to be accommodated in APBD Public Policy and Priority of Temporary Budget Ceiling (KUA-PPAS) 2018.

"Based on KUA-PPAS discussion result in Commission E, Rp 680.4 billion is added for school renovation," said Tuty Kusumawati, member of Jakarta TAPD at City Council Building, Tuesday (11/14).

She explained, additional budget can be received after her side agreed to add more schools for renovation from 38 into 100 locations. Thus total allocation budget in KUA-PPAS 2018 becomes Rp 1.8 trillion.

Council Wants 500 Schools Renovation Accommodated in KUA-PPAS 2018

"We will ensure furniture procurement is noted in educational unit equipment procurement nomenclature. We add Rp 72.4 billion to it," she said.

On previous KUA-PPAS draft, she mentioned, budget for furniture procurement is only Rp 35 billion. But now, Rp 108 billion is prepared for its budget allocation.

"We prepare Rp 108 billion for 100 schools that have been renovated," she closed.
