2018, Entrepreneurship Training Prepared For IKM Actors

Training is given to the industry actors in the eight sub-districts that already have the product. Each sub-district will send 150 participants

Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept. is about to open entrepreneurship training next year for hundreds of people in Central Jakarta. It aims to improve the economy of people.

According to Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Section Head of Industrial for Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept., training will be dedicated to the actors of small and medium industry sector (IKM).

"Training is given to the industry actors in the eight sub-districts that already have the product. Each sub-district will send 150 participants," she expressed, on the sidelines of the executive meeting at the office of Central Jakarta Mayor, Tuesday (11/14).

Aside that, the dept. also plans to provide facilities in the form of business development through product packaging, halal certification for food and beverage products, and trademark copyrights through Intellectual Property Rights (HAKI).

In the meantime, Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede instructs regional heads to support the training by providing places and supporting facilities.

"We surely support. I hope the industry actor will grow rapidly," he hoped.
