East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. optimizes 14 pump houses during rainy season to anticipate flood and inundation.

"In 14 pump houses, there are 4 of 36 pumps in repair," said Mustajab, East Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. Head, Tuesday (11/21).
He explained, from total 36 pumps in 14 pump houses, there are 22 stationer pumps and 14 mobile pumps. 4 pumps in repair are located in Kebon Sayur Pump House, Gang Asem and Gang Pertama Pump Houses in Bidara Cina, Jatinegara, and IKIP Rawamangun Pump House in Pulogadung.
14 Pump Houses in N. Jakarta Ready to Face Rainy Season"Pump repair will complete by the end of this month. Its condition is 80 percent completed and ready to be operated again," he explained.
According to him, Jalan DI. Panjaitan which is in front of WIKA Cawang and IBN Penas are prone to inundation during rainy season.
"We have anticipate it by optimizing Halim Lama and WIKA Cawang Pump Houses," he closed.
